Treat Yourself Pretty
Recovered emotional and binge eater Sami Snow offers her experience in overcoming the powerful voice in her head to go eat some more. Her weight loss journey unknowingly turned into a self love journey and setting standards for the way she lives her life. Healing her relationship with food and progressing her fitness goals in the gym have increased her self confidence, as she started doing the things she said she would do. Showing up for herself and keeping her commitments allows her to become the woman she's always wanted to be. What she didn't realize on all the other weight loss journeys, is that you have to change your mindset-and the habits you create are ones you'll want to enjoy as you're creating them for the sustainable future. Leaving behind the bloating, bingeing, shame, guilt, and sickness she felt in her own body; she is now enjoying the body she is in while expressing gratitude for all that her body allows her to do for herself. Since she has discovered how GOOD she can feel in her own skin, she wants to empower other women to do the same.

Sami is on the phone with her best friend, Megan, for an honest, unfiltered conversation about the uncomfortable truth behind lasting change: sometimes, you have to become frustrated enough to stop negotiating with yourself.
Together, they unpack the difference between self-love and self-abandonment, food freedom and “giving yourself permission” to eat everything, and consistency and perfection. They explore how food standards—not rigid food rules—can help women care for their bodies while still enjoying Chick-fil-A, pizza, and the foods they genuinely love.
From Sami’s evolution as she celebrates four years binge-free to Megan’s experience building healthier habits for herself and her children, this conversation is a reminder that transformation happens through small, unsexy choices that compound over time.
If you’ve ever wondered why you know what to do but still struggle to do it—or how to pursue weight loss without hating your body—this episode will challenge the way you think about discipline, self-trust, and what it truly means to Treat Yourself Pretty.

Hello, pretty. Welcome back to the podcast that is formerly known as Pretty Is as Pretty Does Podcast and is now officially the Treat Yourself Pretty podcast. This name feels more than just a rebrand for me. It really reflects how this message and I have evolved. Treating yourself pretty isn't simply loving and accepting yourself exactly as you are, that is part of the process, but it's loving yourself enough to actually take care of your body, keep the promises that you make to yourself, and continue becoming the woman you know you're capable of being. So a lot has happened behind the scenes for me. It's been hard for me to keep up with the podcast. I have officially onboarded my first one-on-one coaching client, and the food freedom modules are coming together so nicely. And I recently just celebrated Four Years Binge Free. That milestone means so much more to me than I can like even explain or tell you guys. And I'm going to be celebrating it with the official launch of the Foodie Freedom program as it continues to take shape. I'm so excited for this because this is honestly what I'm most passionate about. You want to be a foodie, but you feel out of control around foods. In today's episode, you're going to hear a conversation between my best friend Megan and I. Megan has participated in every group coaching program that I've ever created. And I've had the privilege of watching her build healthier habits, not only for herself, but for her family. She's also raising two of my godbabies who have autism. So creating a healthy, realistic way of eating that works for her family is one of the goals that she continues to work towards. So last month, Megan made a pretty promise inside of my challenge to stop eating fast food after 8 p.m. once the kids were in bed. This was something that she was doing because she enjoyed a hot meal as a mom and it brought her a lot of comfort, right? A lot of moms can probably resonate with this. But she kept that promise 26 out of 30 days, which is freaking incredible. No, it wasn't perfect, but who wants to be perfect? What she did was build consistency, and that's exactly what this work is about. So today, in this conversation, we talk very candid, open, and honest about comfort, frustration, discipline, food freedom, parenting, and the difference between accepting yourself and abandoning yourself. We also explore what it means to have standards around how you fuel your body without creating these rigid rules like you can't eat Chick-fil-A, and how the smallest, least glamorous, unsexy choices actually compound into real change over time. And Megan is a testament to that. So this is a real conversation between two best friends who are both learning, evolving, and figuring out what it looks like to treat themselves and the people they love pretty. So I hope you enjoy today's episode.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. You're like, I'm not following.
SPEAKER_00Sorry. I'm actually really excited about this uh messaging, like not being frustrated enough. I can't get that out of my head.
SPEAKER_01I've told you that before because I remember you wrote that down.
SPEAKER_00Well, just know that it's really resonating now, and I'm like hearing it and really, I actually just threw it in Chat GPT. I'm not frustrated enough in weight loss and coaching and actually building a business. And this is just me being very vulnerable with you. And this is something I've wanted to do a podcast episode about, but I've been like nervous being this vulnerable. But yeah, I do think that I have a comfort problem. You know, I keep like they keep giving us raises. They just gave us another 5% raise at work, which is like a nice chunk of money every year. Wow. From my very first offer where I work to now, I've gotten over $40,000 in raises. Like, yeah, that's huge. That's freaking huge, not to mention the student loan. So am I comfortable? Yeah, bills are paid. I have a beautiful condo. I'm pretty comfortable. I make a lot of money for most people, most average people. I'm not talking about the entrepreneurs and ambitious people that I want to be like. I think a lot of people they become a nurse and like they're gonna be a nurse for life, and that's great. And it provides for them and they live a comfortable life. I want to put myself in the uncomfortable. I actually stay in the uncomfortable because I have been trying to build this business for a long time for a couple of years now. I am comfortable in my job so that I and I don't go as hard, and not to mention I work 40 hours a week and I'm on call. So like that does take time away from actually building a business, but I feel like I'm creating content every day. I'm putting the brand out. I have a podcast that offers so much free value about like the treat yourself pretty philosophy. And now I'm like, no, I need to put this into action. And I and putting this into Chat GPT is like, there's this one part on here that said, the business isn't just I want more clients. It's I refuse to let diet culture keep winning. And that is literally my mission because it's like when you describe foodie freedom, you aren't just selling macros. You're talking about women who eat in secret, who eat, who think, like, what the fuck is wrong with me? Women who believe they'll never trust themselves around food and end up with diabetes and heart disease and decades of self-hatred. Like that's the mission. And I'm like sitting here just thinking of like how incredible it is that you just said that to me about being frustrated. And yes, it totally applies back to Hannah and the desserts and make like having her say, I want ice cream, you know, and like we do have to push past our comfort zones. We do have to get frustrated sometimes to make a change, but you don't have to do that from like in at least in our weight loss journey and treating yourself pretty. You don't have to lose weight from hating your body and hating yourself. You know, you can do it from a place of like, okay, I'm frustrated and now I'm going to love myself enough to show up. I'm gonna love myself enough to take care of my body. I'm gonna love myself enough to do the things I promised myself I would do because like my word is sacred. I trust myself. Like that is the mission. Uh, that is treating yourself pretty. And like, do I have physique goals? Yes, I have physique goals. But I'm also very comfortable with where I'm at. Like, I love my body as it is today. Crazy enough. I'm strong as F. Like, I really am so strong. But yeah, I want to shed some fat because I want to be optimize my health. And yeah, I want a little gut and big butt.
SPEAKER_01Like just being spelling God, my belly and like.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I got a soft belly. I would love a core. I think a solid, I think a very strong core is so sexy. And I'm not talking about small, I'm talking about strong. So I want a strong, lean core. That is something I've never had. And I know that if I were following all of my coaches' protocols to a T, the way she prescribes them, I'd be losing the weight and having the fat loss.
SPEAKER_01But I do think that I have been can I ask you a question?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Why don't you follow them like to a T? Like do you just feel like it's like hours in the day, or you're just busy, or you just is a great question.
SPEAKER_00I'm so glad that you're asking. Why do I not follow my protocols to a T? So here are my protocols. My macros actually just changed. I think that's the area that I struggle the most with because even when I am being intentional and I am close to my targets, she's pretty strict, and as she should be, because this is what she does for a living. And, you know, it's like 145 grams of protein a day, 55 grams of fat, and give or take 180 to 210, depending on where I'm at, for carbs. And those are the hardest for me to hit. One, I have been conditioned by Diet Culture to do low carb, high fat, high protein. So those are my protocols for macros. Steps are 8,000 a day. I hit that most days. Um, lifts, I do three lifts a week, I hit that most weeks. So it's not about checking the boxes and being 100%. And I think that's where people get it wrong because they're like, well, if you're not following all of your coach's protocols, like what's the point? Well, the point is, is I'm still hydrated. I still hit my steps most of the time. I still meal prep and hit my macros most of the time. And I still do my lifts most of the time. And I rebound quickly when maybe I didn't hit my steps today, but I get my lift in. Or maybe I hit my macros today, but I didn't hit my steps. And some days I'm 100% compliant and have all of my ducks in a row. I do my lifts, I'm hydrated as fuck. I hit all my steps, I hit my macros, like I got the best sleep. Like, there's so many reasons that you're not 100% every day, but consistency is not 100% every single day. You know what I mean? At least not for me. And that's where I'm like, maybe I'm not frustrated enough. Maybe I need to be hitting those protocols more. I'm pretty consistent overall. Like I am really proud of the habits that I have for myself. And I am so proud to be celebrating four years binge free because I think that is a huge part of my journey. So for this first year with my coach, it was a lot of okay, tracking my macros, understanding macros, understanding a maintenance phase, a reverse diet, a calorie deficit phase, and why those phases are important instead of always, I've always chronically been in a calorie deficit. And you can't just keep lowering your calories until you lose weight. That's how you fuck up your metabolism. So I've learned so, so, so much. But this year, I do want to learn better discipline. I do want to be more frustrated. I do want to follow those protocols. Let's say I'm at about an 86% overall with my protocols. I want to get closer to 91%, you know.
SPEAKER_01So I like yeah, I you recorded that, right? Yes, this is like yeah, I think yeah, I whatever timer it tells you. I think that's a good point that you're making. Because I feel like sometimes just like when you say things, like even if you like, I feel like sometimes even like when you talk about things like okay, honestly, like yeah, I can go I can be chick-fil-a with like what did you really need to eat the chick-fil-a? Like, you know what I mean? Like, listen to your body, but like also be aware, you know. Like, I don't know how to that's maybe not the way you're saying it, but like well, you just actually brought up a good point.
SPEAKER_00You're like, Well, should you be eating Chick-fil-A? And here's the thing with me, and this is like a whole nother can of worms that I just can't help myself, so stop me. But yeah, like that's where foodie freedom comes in because Chick-fil-A is not bad. Chick-fil-A should not be avoided. Chick-fil-A is not the worst choice in the world, you know. Do I encourage you to have a diet made up of mostly fast food? Like, no, obviously not. But Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets, they're very satisfying. They feel like you're having something, I don't want to say naughty, but they're very indulgent for me. They're very good to me. But they are a good mix of proteins, fats, and carbs. So I actually have Chick-fil-a chicken nuggets in my refrigerator as we speak right now, because you know me, I buy a box of them. I keep them in the fridge for the week, and I'll have like three or four a day, maybe sometimes none, sometimes more, depending on where I need to fill in my macros. But yeah, no, I don't think that like you have to restrict yourself to see the weight loss. I have maintained 20 pounds down. And the cool thing is like this is fat that we're talking about, but it doesn't sound like a lot. Like that's not sexy to a lot of people. But I just also shared that I have like an 87% overall, maybe somewhere in the B range. We'll just say like a B for overall habits and consistency. But that's the 80-20 rule, too. That's where I'm like, okay, I'm not frustrated enough because if I was, I'd be closer to the 91%. And I'm working my way there. I'm also a lot more disciplined than I was this time last year, that's for sure. I'm saying no. I'm not saying like, oh, I have food freedom and I eat intuitively and then give myself permission to eat because that's how I gained 50 pounds two years ago.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Now I'm like, no, I have the information. This makes sense for where I'm at, and I have a plan. Like, I have the support systems and I'm practicing saying no. Because I think also for a long time, I was like, well, I'm being honest with myself and tracking it. So I'm holding myself accountable inside my fitness pal. So if I eat the Reese's and I'm gonna chart, I'm gonna like document in my fitness pal and track my macros, and that's like a way of holding myself responsible. But it's like not enough because I'm not hitting the, I'm sabotaging my own results. You know, earlier this year I have to give myself grace because I went through weeks, months, even eight, six, eight to 12 weeks of very overwhelming stress and my nervous system could not recover. My sleep, I've never experienced this in my life before where my sleep did not allow my body to recover. I actually wasn't working out. And I think that I had so much inflammation going on in my body, there was no way to make progress. So, was calorie deficit the goal at the time? No, my body needed to know it was safe. So we increased my calories. And I've basically been in a maintenance phase and reverse diet. So we're priming my body to go into a calorie deficit. But if you look at my macros this week, yeah, your girl is on it. Steps this week, your girl is on it. Lifts this week, and that's the best part about fitness is you can jump right back in at any time. You're literally one choice away from becoming a healthier version of you and like getting back on track and treating yourself pretty, you know?
SPEAKER_01No, it makes sense.
SPEAKER_00I'm not giving up Chick-fil-A. I'm not giving up pizza. And no, I don't want no ground chicken crust pizza. I want pizza. Yeah. It's it's I've been I've been in a maintenance for months now. I've been maintaining the same weight. And it's good because I really like my body was really stressed. You know, I've I did just being really open here, I told my coach that I was frustrated I hadn't made more progress. And I think everyone on a weight loss journey experience that is that frustration at some point because it is annoying that it's not as fast as you want it to be. Like, I'm doing all the things. I'm drinking my water, I'm hitting my steps, I'm doing my lifts, I'm cooking from home, you know, like I'm doing the thing. So you do get to a point where you're like, okay, like I need to be seeing more progress. But I have been dialing in food, I have been dialing in discipline. I have definitely recommitted this week that, like, no, this is really important to me. Like, I've hired a coach. I'm going into my second year, and I'm really proud that I've lost 20 pounds of mostly fat, if not all fat. And yeah, another 20 pounds of losing fat would be incredible. And the reason I know I'm not losing like muscle mass is because I eat my damn protein and I'm in the damn gym. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, and I feel like you have, I do feel like you have like a lot of good things. Like, even if you're like, okay, like I know whole food, I'm gonna eat anything and you're eating like a repetition a lot of same food. Like and I feel like even myself is like if I feel like a little bit of a few people who think like I can make millions of dollars. You know what I mean? Like if it was in trouble, everyone would fucking be doing it. Exactly. I would call that the power of compounding and time and doing anything.
SPEAKER_00So it's like if it's like anything, it all takes time, it all takes planning, it's you know, like it comes down to these small efforts that you make, these small daily, unsexy choices, and you use the word that I love, compounds. Yeah, it's like compounds over time, I agree completely.
SPEAKER_01But I think it's like he also is like not being frustrated. It's like it's a man is like not being frustrated, but it's like getting back in the game. With Hannah, it's like I just feel I feel like I I always hear the word like survival. Which I don't think is a bad thing. I think it is a good thing. I think it's a good thing to like make yourself a better person or be the best person that you possibly can be, whatever that looks like.
SPEAKER_00I think that's like I love striving for that. And I think that's also where I'm like part of that is being more disciplined and practicing that discipline and practicing that mind control and mindset of like, you know, because no one's perfect and you should not expect perfection, but like, yes, how can I be the best version of myself? What can I do today to get there? You know, what systems do I need to have in place that set me up for success? What does my environment need to look like to normalize what my best self looks like?
SPEAKER_01There's something I took a picture because I liked it. When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower. I like that.
SPEAKER_00I love it.
SPEAKER_01It was interesting to like okay, then I'll just be honest. Okay, don't take this the wrong way either. Like you said things before, but like like it's kind of like your brother. Like, you your brother don't think about any of this shit. Like, he's just fucking happy.
SPEAKER_00Dude has it made. Let me tell you what, Zach. I think I got the short end of the stick. Like, I wish I was autistic and living with my parents and working at the butcher shop. Like, damn, Zach. Zach eats what he wants. He's happier than a pig and shit. Like, seriously. But but you know what? I love that.
SPEAKER_01I hate when people say that. They'll be like, they're like, well, at least your kids are happy, and it's like and then like, oh my god, that's already think. Like then sometimes I laugh because like you know, my kids are happy, you know, like but I mean they're I mean they're slow.
SPEAKER_00Like, I just they're gonna make progress, they are going to make progress. You have seen them make progress, and progress is inevitable. I do think that we have a good podcast episode. I'm actually kind of excited to edit and upload that.
SPEAKER_01I know you've been working hard. Uh, your hard work is gonna pay off.
SPEAKER_00It it is going to pay off. I like I just there is this weird, unwavering belief that this is going to happen for me. And it's not even about like building a coaching business and like an income, it's about the impact. Like, I just want to make an impact on women to love themselves enough to start showing up, to love themselves so much that of course they show up. Like, I want women to be healthy and I know that they also want to be sexy. And the cool thing is, is like you can do both. By treating yourself pretty. Like, literally, you can feel confident in your body. You can trust yourself in your word again. You can be the best version that you want to be. I'm working on that. And like, I just want every woman to feel so good. And I think that's why, like, I can talk about this for a second, but that's why like it hurts my feelings, like that the friend I had a breakup with this week, because I know we're recording, so I don't want to use her name, but it breaks my heart that like she didn't have that same support for me because even with her, like I just wish that she would treat herself pretty. I wish that she trusted her own word. I wish that she had the confidence in her own body. I would like I think every woman deserves to feel good and confident and capable and trust their own voice and show up in the world and take up space and be unapologetic about it. I think there's nothing more radical than a woman not apologizing for who she is and having something to stand for. Anyway, I am gonna be going to bed here pretty soon, but like I do really love this conversation. I actually love all of our conversations.
SPEAKER_01I think that's a good note to leave on, because honestly, I I do think that is I think that's a pr that's pretty powerful. Because I think I think it is true. I think I think self-love, whether you have a soft belly or a hardcore belly, I think that's important. I think self-love is very important.
SPEAKER_00And but I and I never want to I remember like I remember you asking me, like, what does treat yourself pretty like really even mean? And I think I was kind of figuring it out for myself too, because I didn't want to send the wrong message of like just love and accept your body as it is and not take care of it. Like that was never my message. It's never like eat fast food three times a day and just have food freedom and give yourself permission to eat. It's like, no, no, no, no. I think you should, I don't think you should have food rules like like Chick-fil-A is bad, like you should stay away from Chick-fil-A. Like, no, the the like food rules are not it, but food standards and the way that you have standards for the way you fuel yourself, like yes. How you take care of your body and you have standards around that, like yes. It's not just even me. Like I love and accept my body as it is today, but I am also working towards fat loss specifically. And I think it's okay, and I think you can hold both of those emotions just as much as you can hold like being a recovered binge eater and being in a calorie deficit. Some people think that's totally taboo, and then other people like, yeah, you can heal from that, and I'm proof of that.
SPEAKER_01Even like in your journey, like I said, like I think you've always been very good about being like, hey, I like be honest with what you eat. Like, yeah, you had the the MM, you had this, but I I also see just from us talking. It's like you are curbing and becoming like more disciplined. Like, yes, like I can be honest and have I'm trying to do this. I should have written it down the other day. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna do this, but you're like, I I don't need that, or I don't want that. Like so there is like the discipline part too. I feel like that is a part of your message that's like changed, which is but I think it's it's a journey, I think that's the biggest thing. It's like with anything, it's like you are going to curve, you're gonna change, and and that's okay.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Well, I think it's a progression, and I think you're exactly right. Like, it is going to change, and it has progressed because I think the I think I mentioned this earlier, but like the first year of my journey with my coach has been like learning macros, understanding my body, really get in tune with how to fuel my body and what that looks like, and getting into protocols and coaching in general. This year is definitely about dialing in those protocols, dialing in the discipline because I was nervous tracking my macros as a recovered binge eater. I was nervous going into a calorie deficit as a recovered binge eater. Those things were big deals for me because I did not want to risk my recovery. You know, I don't want to go back to binge eating and feeling helpless and out of control around food again. But it is now where, like, okay, I feel like I've given myself the grace. I have held myself accountable. I have looked at the data and the numbers and been honest and consistent using my FitnessPal for over 400, where am I at? 428 days, you know, and that's how long I've been with my code. Those 428 days have been a progression of who I am as a woman. And yeah, I am at a point where I'm like, okay, I am recommitting to following the protocols. And so far this week, I am killing it. And some weeks you have it where you are on top of your shit. You are really hitting and checking those boxes. And then some weeks you're like barely surviving. And that's how I felt earlier this year when I was going through the transition of buying the condo and all of the other stresses that I had surrounding that. You know? So there's gonna be times when seasons of survival, and there's gonna be times to push really hard. And there is a balance, and I also believe in a yin and a yang. And I think that I'm really proud of the woman I am right now. I feel really confident in my body. I feel really dedicated to myself and taking care of myself and optimizing my health. Because again, I what you and I understand as nurses like what happens when you don't take care of yourself. We've taken care of very sick elderly populations. Yeah. I'm really, I really am proud of how I am taking care of myself because there used to be a version of me that if I wasn't losing weight, what was the point of showing up? You know?
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_00I'm only drinking my water and eating a salad because I might lose weight. No, you shouldn't only show up and take care of your body only when you're trying to lose weight, but that's what so many women have been conditioned to do, to eat healthy when they're trying to lose weight. You should eat healthy because you should be healthy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like, you, yeah, it shouldn't be conditional. Like your you showing up for yourself or you showing up for your health should not be conditional on you losing weight. It should be conditional on like, hey, I love my body enough. Like, I only get this one temple, this one capsule, this one living object. I can't switch it out. Like, you can't, I mean, you can't get another body. Like you could another, like you could just go get another car. You can't do that with your body. And the other thing is, is like you have to take radical responsibility for your health because you are literally the only person who can do that.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00You are the only person who can put the time in in the gym. You are the only person who can control the food that enters your mouth. Like only you.
SPEAKER_01Yes. No, it's true.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, my message has definitely changed. I have definitely changed, and it feels good to be evolving, you know? What were you gonna say? Sorry.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. You are. I mean, it's true. It's it's it's kind of like I like the gatekeeper thing. I think that's been huge. Like, same with Hunter. He's like, oh, sprinkles, say he's trying to say sprinkles. Like, I'm not giving you fucking sprinkles. I'm not gonna be fucking like no, like, and I also feel guilty and like I don't have bananas here. Like, and he's like, banana, and I know like I know Henry will eat the banana, but I guess it was like even eye-opening to me. Like, okay, I'm like, I'm trying to be like, let's go get a donut. Like, it'll give an experience. We'll go get the donut track. Get a donut. It's like a waste, like you're eating the frosting off the donut. Like, I can do it on occasion, but like I went to all the after, and it's kind of like how you're saying like the whole thing, go to whole food and like take out the fruit. And it was funny because like I literally, I'm trying to like I think I don't know if we even talk about it, but like my grocery shopping. It's like I hate grocery shopping. It's not fun, I don't enjoy it, but like I struggle, like I like fresh fruit. I like I like to take my own fruit, and that's something I just know about myself. Like, I like to look at the strawberries, I like to look at the bananas, and I don't want them brown, I want them a certain way. Like, I kind of like we know where Aldi is. So, like I think that's really kind of cool. Like, so like I don't want to get a mango, so we got a mango, we got a watermelon, I got like the bananas, and I only got like the fruits. And then what I ended up doing was I ordered stuff from like um Target. So like I got her, like she's been really into pasta. She's like, Oh my god, do you like pasta? Do you like lasagna? Okay. Um but it was kind of neat. I'm like, I I think it's good to show them like let's pick out our fruit, let's pick out her the vegetables, they have the broccoli, they have the cauliflower. So I think it's like structuring that where they see those things and then just getting delivered the foods, like, you know, like your boxed items on the you know, see all those things.
SPEAKER_00I could just have them in like in the you know, cabinets or whatever, but well, I do love the idea of involving them in the food selection itself because the more that they're involved in that process and they see that process and they're in the store with you, and you guys are picking that stuff out together, like yeah, that does leave them an impression, and they are more because they're handling it more, is more normalized, they are much more likely to eat it consistently, too, you know.
SPEAKER_01Heath are so bad though. Like, he is so you know, I was like, here, have some black beans. He's like, I love when he says eye cream, eye queen, eye queen, eye queen, like ice cream.
SPEAKER_02It's so cute.
SPEAKER_01I think I think like even like it's funny because like I like that article too like your watermelon cut like how do you cut your fruit? Like that can make a difference for a kid too. So I started cutting the watermelon like pizza like with the crust, thinking like, okay, like this is a way to eat it. I really need to figure out like I know you said too, but I don't like that chicken that way. Like how to make a chicken like a different type of pizza, besides like my kids don't eat the crust on the pizza. They literally only eat the cheese and the sausage. Between the two of them, they eat a full jack's pizza, just not the crust. But like the cheese and sausage really isn't that bad for you. I mean, like well, yeah, and like she doesn't eat anything. She's like even the black bean, she's like not crazy about. I mean, she's pretty much like a fruit person. But like I'm like, yeah, I gotta figure out a way to like make a pizza or do something that like they can eat and just like again, it's like a dog, just keep eating it.
SPEAKER_00Have you tried just doing like a tortilla crust? Like that's how I make the barbecue chicken flatbreads.
SPEAKER_01I can try to make that. That's not a bad idea. Like, I just make that. So like he likes she likes that. She's gonna weird the sauce, but like she eats the rayos because that's actually a better sauce for you.
SPEAKER_00It is so good. I'll pay the premium price for it too.
SPEAKER_01Well, I pay the price for it too, because like I like it. Like, I don't have a problem giving her pasta with the rayos sauce. But like sometimes I damn it's so much carbs, but I also have to understand like your kids and their requirements are a little bit different than adults.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Like I don't want to be like Just give them a balanced plate. Proteins, fats, carbs. You need a source of all of them.
SPEAKER_01And you don't like But like it it's it's I feel like it's hard to like with like protein. Like, I don't feel like she's really the best. It is I like that eating her thing. It hasn't changed, that's the problem. Like, even though I was trying to tell you like your weights are both high. It's not like like you know what I mean weight forever. So you would just try to get anything like you really need like anything to do with that or anything high. But that's not very true anymore. Like you know if you do it, you know. Like if you even have so interesting, I feel like I don't know, you can be like possible if you want to have to introduce that introduce that the library. Like, ew. And I'm like, why are you even giving him a juice back? I'm like, whatever. But he loves water. He does have some good qualities too. Like I said, if you could just drink that water forever, that would be one step in the right direction. All right, I'll let you go because I know it's getting late and you gotta work tomorrow. What day are you off this week?
SPEAKER_00Tomorrow.
SPEAKER_01Oh shit.
SPEAKER_00I know, I'm so excited. Yeah, yeah. I've been going to bed at like 9:30 every night. I have been whooped. These 10-hour shifts, it's only a two-hour difference, but something about being in that building for another two hours, like, oop, Lord, I've been tired. I am sure. So tomorrow I'm really excited. I'm gonna go to the farmer's market, pick out some vegetables. I have a friend coming over. Not gonna say anything more about that. Um later. Love you, bye. I just said I'm not putting any names on.
SPEAKER_01I love you. I will talk to you.
SPEAKER_00Love you, bye.
